Former Miss World criticizes women’s organizations for their silence on Hamas atrocities

Former Miss Israel and Miss World Linor Abargil has come out strongly against the United Nations and international women’s groups for their failure to condemn Hamas’ brutal sexual violence against Israeli women. Abargil, who is a survivor of rape, expressed her shame at being associated with organizations like the United Nations during an interview with Fox News.

According to police evidence, there have been dozens of cases of sexual assault and sexual crimes by Hamas terrorists being used as a tool of war. One survivor of a massacre testified that she witnessed another woman being raped in front of her before ultimately being shot. Despite these horrific acts, feminists and Human Rights groups have been unwilling to publicly condemn Hamas’ mass raping of Israeli women.

Abargil went on to criticize the “Me Too” movement, stating that it seems to have become “Me Too unless you are a Jew.” She expressed her disappointment in the lack of support from organizations that claim to champion women’s rights, particularly in light of the ongoing silence surrounding the atrocities committed by Hamas.

The United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, known as UN Women, took nearly two months to issue a mild criticism of Hamas for its rape and murder spree. While the UN has condemned Hamas for terrorist attacks on civilians, UN Women has remained silent in addressing reports of gender-based violence perpetrated by Hamas.

Despite previously feeling supported by the U.N. when promoting her film ‘Brave Miss World,’ Abargil now feels ashamed to have been associated with the organization. She called out women’s organizations for being silent and failing to condemn Hamas’ actions, choosing to prioritize politics over the brutal actions carried out by the terrorist group.

Last week, Abargil spoke at the U.N. headquarters in New York City and challenged women’s organizations, emphasizing the importance of not forgetting the victims of Hamas’ violence. She vowed to ensure that the world does not forget them and to be their voice in the face of such atrocities.

In conclusion, Abargil’s powerful words and condemnation of organizations’ silence regarding Hamas’ actions highlight the need for a unified stance against sexual violence in conflicts. Her bravery in speaking out against such horrific acts serves as a reminder that the fight for women’s rights must be unwavering, regardless of political considerations.
