Taylor Swift Keeps Holiday Lights Up Until January as She Supports Boyfriend Travis Kelce at Football Game

Taylor Swift is extending the holiday season this year as she opts to keep her Christmas tree lights up until January while she spends the festive period far from home. And it’s not just for fun, as the famous singer has a special reason for staying thousands of miles away from her usual holiday traditions – she’s there to support her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at his football game.

Swift was once again spotted cheering on Kelce from the stands as his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the Las Vegas Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium in Missouri. This is not the first time she has attended one of his games, but it does mark their first Christmas together as a couple, which is evident from Swift’s appearance at the stadium.

On this occasion, Swift was dressed in a black bow and a plaid mini skirt, spreading Christmas cheer by wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. Previously, Thanksgiving saw them spending the holiday apart, as Kelce noted in an episode of his podcast before the holiday that he would be “feasting on KFC because I won’t have anybody here,” while Swift had shows scheduled in Brazil over the Thanksgiving weekend.

After months of dating alongside football games and touring, the couple finally gets to be in the same city as the year comes to an end, much to the delight of their fans. With Swift’s Eras Tour on hiatus until the next show in February, a source revealed to ET that “Taylor is planning to spend a lot more time at Travis’ house in Kansas City while she is on a break.”

According to the source, “Things between Travis and Taylor are going really well. Their relationship is progressing in a great way. They’re both very excited to be together, and Travis is making sure that Taylor feels comfortable and at home. They have mutual respect and admiration for one another, and their feelings for each other are sincere.”

Addressing the public nature of her new romance, Swift told Time, “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care.” She continued, “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Fans are eager to see how Swift and Kelce’s relationship continues to blossom, as the couple enjoys spending quality time together during their breaks from work and finding joy in each other’s success both on and off the field. With the New Year approaching, it looks like the couple will continue to support each other in their respective careers while making time for their relationship to flourish.
