Man beaten with hammer in Belfast Kew Hill Country Park attack

A man has been hospitalized after being hit with a hammer during Monday evening’s attack in northern Belfast.

Ollis said a 20-year-old man was attacked at Kew Hill Country Park in the city’s Hightown Road area.

He said the victim was then traced on Ballysilan Road and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

PSNI appealed to anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.

A police spokesman said: “At around 8.40 a.m. we received a report that a 20-year-old man was attacked by men with hammers at Kew Hill Country Park in the Hightown Road area of ​​the city.

“He was later traced to Ballysillon Road, where he was taken to hospital for treatment for his injuries.”
