When is Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas special on TV?

The popular comedy show Mrs Brown Boys, starring Brendan O’Carroll as the iconic Mrs Brown, will have a Christmas special this year and there will be fun and festive chaos at Finglas for the family.

The sitcom based on the Irish housewife and her family debuted in 2011 and regularly features Christmas and New Year’s specials.

This year the Christmas special will air on BBC One at 10.20 pm on Christmas Day and there will be a second part of the special which will air on New Year’s Eve at 10.20 pm.

Mrs. Brown joins the church choir during a Christmas special and, with the Christmas tree severely lacking, Buster, played by Danny O’Carroll, has to get creative to save Christmas.

Raising money for drunken Greyhound Buster and Dermot (Paddy Holihan) organizes a celebratory night at the local pub Foley with a murder mystery incident.

The Christmas and New Year’s specials will also see a new character, Mickey, who is Grandpa’s (Dermot O’Neill) brother, but will the family be happy to see him?

Mrs Brown’s Boys Christmas Special will air on Christmas Day at 10.20 pm on BBC One.
